Sharon Wyatt2024-08-16What a great place. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Luanne took extra time with us to share places of interest and offer detailed directions to our next stop on our trip further north. She recommended visiting the Bookworm which was FANTASTIC. The home was lovely and comfortable. The only slightly negative for us was the bed in the 2nd bedroom was very squeaky. My sis had trouble sleeping because every time she moved, it was noisy. But that's the only thing. Everything was top quality. Loved the sheets and towels. The tub at first looks odd/intimidating, but once you're in there it's super spacious for a shower. The grounds outside are lovely. Luanne has the greenest of thumbs and her flower beds are so pretty. We relaxed a bit outside just enjoying the view of the landscape. She even attracted bees to her bee box! I've been trying for some time to do that at home with no success. They had treats ready for us when we arrive (which were super yummy cookies) and prepared light breakfast in the morning. My sister appreciated the real cream for her coffee in the morning. It's in the details and they came through. I really liked this home and town very much. I hope to return for a longer stay.
K Joslin2023-09-10This was a wonderful place to stay! Super clean and quiet, nicely decorated and roomy. So much nicer than staying at a motel! Our first night here our son and his family stayed with us and there was room for the two of us and the 4 of them. The hosts were great and the breakfasts were tasty, they asked our grandkids what cereal they would like and in the morning that cereal was one of the choices, along with a yummy coffee cake, yogurts, and fresh fruit. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to stay again in the future when we are in the area.

Nancy Lemke2023-05-15Luanne and Mark have created a serene, extremely clean and welcoming place to stay for visitors to the Sheboygan area. With two floors of a duplex there is ample room for four or more, 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. The back door private entrance is right off of the lovely garden, near the reserved parking spot. We had a great two night stay and could have asked for nothing more, especially after having the substantial continental breakfast. Thank you Father Wind! We hope to come back for another stay.

julphrog2022-08-30We were sorry that we only were able to spend one nite at Father Wind on our way north. Breakfast was great, garden was relaxing. A person would be crazy not to stay here.

We were in town for a 50 year high school reunion and did not want to stay at the hotels in town, so when I found Father Wind in my search I was so happy. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
